The first state-level medical history society to have a website.  Our goal is to promote interest, research, and writing in medical history, and we are dedicated to the discussion and enjoyment of the history of medicine and allied fields.

    We are all so excited about the upcoming fall meeting!  

    We have four amazing speakers: 

    • Dennis Cornfield, MD will be speaking on Philadelphia's Response to the Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1793
    • John Warhol, PhD will be speakng on the Official State Microbe
    • Jennifer Harmsen, MA will be speaking on the Impact of the 1918 Influenza Pandemic in New Jersey
    • Richard Veit, PhD will be speaking on the Lazaretto Hospital in Philadelphia
