The first state-level medical history society to have a website. Our goal is to promote interest, research, and writing in medical history, and we are dedicated to the discussion and enjoyment of the history of medicine and allied fields.
The Medical History Society of New Jersey is pleased to announce its next monthly Zoom meeting. On Tuesday, September 21, at 7:00pm EST, Dr. David J. Wolf of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center will present "Sir William Osler and Bookworms." Dr. Wolf will discuss Osler's writings on both kinds of bookworms (human and insect). This is an expanded version of a presentation given to the Grolier Club (a haven for bibliophiles and self-identified bookworms). Join us!
