This March marks the one-year anniversary of the devastating impact of COVID-19 on New Jersey. The novel coronavirus posed a particular threat to those living and working in long term care facilities. 

On Thursday March 18 at 7:00pm via Zoom, Dr. Joshua Schor will present, “Long Term Care Before and After Covid: Insights of a Nursing Home Medical Director.” Dr. Schor will provide a historical context for the development of Nursing Homes / Specialized Nursing Facilities, explain the role of the Medical Director in such institutions, and share his experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Schor is Medical Director Emeritus, Daughters of Israel, West Orange NJ, and is currently Senior Medical Director, Optum CCM. He is also the author of The Nursing Home Guide: A Doctor Reveals What You Need to Know about Long-Term Care.
